The Electrical Testing Technician will be performing various quality assurance and testing processes on a spread of product offerings, including but not limited to Modular Data Centers, Power Equipment Centers, Custom Integrated Switchboards, and pre-manufactured indoor/outdoor electrical distribution centers. Responsibilities:
- As Electrical Testing Technician you will be responsible for Validating the function and performance for our Engineered Electrical Solutions.
- The successful candidate will have experience in Electrical Systems, Switchgear operation/testing and validation as well as a wide range of other electrical devices, controls, and electro-mechanical devices.
- Experience with and understanding Electrical Schematics, PLC Ladder Logic, and Instrument Diagrams.
- Have experience of troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems while following appropriate Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Able to inspect Electro-mechanical Equipment for cosmetic, electrical, and mechanical flaws and use CLIENT Non-conformance program to document and assist in correcting said flaws.
- Experience in loading and configuring meters, relays, and various other electrical and mechanical control devices is a plus.
- Frequent interface with customers, associates, and suppliers is also required, so excellent communication skills are essential.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
- 3-5 years' work experience in an Electrical/Mechanical Systems environment or 1-2 years' experience & 2-year electrical degree
- Good working knowledge of NEC, UL, and ETL for low voltage applications
- Strong interpersonal skills for developing and functioning in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- MS Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.)
