Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Team Management: Oversee a team of electricians, ensuring that they are effectively assigned to tasks and are working efficiently.
Training and Development: Provide training to team members on new equipment, technologies, and safety protocols.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all electrical work complies with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the performance of electricians, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans when necessary.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with other supervisors and managers to ensure that electrical work aligns with overall project timelines and objectives.
Resource Allocation: Ensure that necessary tools, equipment, and materials are available for the team to complete their tasks.

Estimating Responsibilities
Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
Bid PProject Scope Definition: Define the scope of electrical work required for projects and develop accurate estimates based on project specifications.
Material Takeoffs: Conduct material takeoffs from drawings and specifications to ensure accurate cost estimations.
Supplier and Vendor Coordination: Obtain quotes from suppliers and vendors, and evaluate them to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track actual costs against estimates, and report any discrepancies.


Additional Duties
Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and ensure high-quality work standards.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of estimates, project progress, and completed work. Prepare regular reports for management.
Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
These duties require a combination of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of project management and cost estimation.

Excellent Attendance
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Proficient Computer Skills (Excel, Outlook and Word)
Project Supervision experience
Project Estimating experience
Thorough knowledge of industrial electrical, control wiring, motor control and lower voltage electrical systems
