Responsibilities:
- Answer drivers phone calls and text responses.
- Manage and create port appointments.
- Follow and maintain the company quality policy and procedures.
- Input needed information such as needed for CSR or Billing Department.
- Create multiple TMPs in system when needed.
- Ensure that orders/dispatches are being dispatched in time to meet port appointment schedules. Make changes when needed and inform CSRs.
- Ensure that orders/dispatches are being dispatched from the DHE Yards in time to meet client appointment schedules. Make changes when needed and inform CSRs.
- Watch e-mails throughout shift and respond to clients needs when appropriate.
- Make sure that all proper documentation is handed to the driver.
- Watch and control Overweight Corridor dispatched to drivers. Ensure drivers are carrying/using correct tools in their trucks when hauling Overweight loads such as banners, straps, permitted 4-axle tractors, permitted 3-axle chassis and all city permits.
- Help reschedule client appointments in system when needed.
- For export shipments make sure that driver has all correct information when turning in loads ie, booking numbers, first receiving schedule, hazMat paperwork.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Long-term employment with previous jobs
- Do not apply if you have only worked 1 year or less at previous employment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask
- Previous long term position in dispatch
- Preferred 2-4 years experience
- Long term work history
- Resume required
