Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management: Build, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
Process Optimization: Develop and implement engineering best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
Product Development: Lead new product design, prototyping, and production scaling efforts in collaboration with R&D and manufacturing teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure that engineering activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to optimize operations.
Technology & Innovation: Identify and integrate advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and digital tools to enhance productivity and scalability.
Budget Management: Develop and oversee the engineering department???s budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Work with external suppliers to source materials, components, and equipment needed for manufacturing.
Skills:
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, CAD software, and process improvement methodologies.
Project Management: Experience managing complex projects, including new product introductions and large-scale operational improvements.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze challenges, develop innovative solutions, and implement improvements effectively.
Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, and other relevant safety and quality standards.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to various stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field.
