Spherion has partnered with a growing Law Firm that is looking for an experienced Attorney to be on a Partner level track. This candidate will need to have at least 4 years of experience and have courtroom and trial experience in Family Law. Civil Litigation experience is also a plus.

Client Management: Building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored legal advice.
Case Strategy: Developing comprehensive strategies for complex family law matters, including divorce, custody, and support cases.
Litigation: Representing clients in court, including presenting cases, negotiating settlements, and arguing motions.
Supervision: Overseeing junior attorneys and support staff, providing mentorship, and ensuring quality legal work.
Business Development: Networking and developing business opportunities to grow the firm's client base, including attending seminars and community events.
Legal Research and Writing: Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and other documents to support cases.
Negotiation: Engaging in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Compliance and Ethics: Ensuring all legal practices comply with ethical standards and legal regulations.
Continuing Education: Staying updated on changes in family law, attending continuing legal education (CLE) courses, and participating in professional organizations.
Financial Management: Overseeing billing, budgeting, and financial aspects of cases or departments within the firm.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Advanced Legal Knowledge: Deep understanding of family law statutes, regulations, and case law, including divorce, custody, support, and adoption.
Strong Advocacy Skills: Proficiency in oral and written advocacy, including persuasive argumentation and effective courtroom presence.

Qualifications:
4+ years of courtroom and trial experience working with Family Law cases. Civil litigation cases are a plus!
