As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our fleet of vehicles and heavy machinery are safe, reliable, and performing at optimal levels.

Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, electrical problems, and engine performance issues.
Replace faulty parts and components, including belts, hoses, filters, and batteries.
Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles and equipment meet safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address service issues and maintain operational efficiency.
Use diagnostic tools and technology to assist in troubleshooting and repair processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with hands-on experience working with diesel engines and related systems.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes.
Proficient with a variety of hand tools, diagnostic tools, and shop equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
