Spherion is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join the team of a technical service provider in Midland County, MI! Reliability and a positive attitude are essential qualities for this role. Skills can be taught, but we need someone we can count on daily. If you're proactive, eager to learn, and have a commitment to showing up every day, this could be the perfect position for you. This is a full-time, temp-hire opportunity after a reliable attendance record has been demonstrated as well as a positive work ethic. Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with no Holidays or weekends. Starting compensation is $15/hr. Technical aptitude, troubleshooting abilities, or experience in a help desk role is preferred, but not required.
***Interested candidates will be required to complete computer-based testing with Spherion (MS Word, MS Excel, Typing, and Office Grammar & Spelling) in order to be considered for this role. Failure to complete the testing will result in disqualification from consideration.
Responsibilities:

- Answer phone lines and provide courteous assistance to customers. If unable to help resolve the problem, then ability to take detailed messages is needed.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar
- Input estimates and invoices accurately
- Log and enter receipts for tracking purposes
- Handle shipping and track incoming/outgoing packages
- Assist with booking travel arrangements as needed
Skills:
- Technical aptitude, troubleshooting abilities, or experience in a help desk role is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communications
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and phone communication skills
