Responsibilities:
Maintains personal proficiency in product knowledge to facilitate understanding of information being processed for inventory control.
Operates computer following prescribed format to access sales orders from the system.

Processes sales orders and distributes shipping papers to shipping department.
Processes and distributes work orders to appropriate departments.
Processes change sheets for sales orders, making changes such as quantity due date and product information, as required.
Receives completed work orders when material handler or production is finished.
Checks reports for work orders received by material handler or customer service.
Maintains files for both open and closed orders.
Communicates lead time and availability of products to customers and/or customer service manager.
Product and manufacturing knowledge.
Operates various office equipment, including word processor, fax machine, and computer systems to include Excel, JDE, and Doc Star.
Promptly and safely carries out orders, directives and changes, including other assignments and responsibilities which may go beyond those outlined in this job description.
Acts as a good steward of resources, shows initiative and reports all matters of concern to the supervisor.
Maintains team-oriented behavior, showing courtesy and respect for fellow associates, the company, its customers, guests and suppliers at all times.
Good communication skills and relationships with department leads.
Handle multiple inquiries/ situations at one time.
Utilizes JDE to process inquiries directly from customers as well as from Wabash customer service staff regarding product availability, order status, delivery, or any other order related matters.
Facilitates the processing of shop orders generated by the JDE and monitors delivery to the appropriate departments in a timely manner.
Coordinates with manufacturing personnel to arrange for expedited or special delivery, packaging, and shipping requirements.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Utilizes Microsoft Excel, Word and JDE. Must have basic computer skills and the ability to expand computer knowledge as required with company provided training. Associate's
degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
