Responsibilities:
Operate various types of cranes (e.g., mobile, tower, overhead) to lift, move, and position materials.
Inspect cranes before and after use to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
Interpret load charts, lift plans, and job site instructions to execute lifts accurately.
Work closely with riggers, signalers, and site supervisors to ensure safe lifting operations.
Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety protocols, and industry best practices.
Perform routine crane maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
Maintain accurate logs of crane operations, loads handled, and any incidents.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Valid crane operator certification (NCCCO or equivalent) preferred.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2+ years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting.
Strong understanding of load calculations, rigging techniques, and crane safety procedures.
Ability to read and interpret load charts and blueprints.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
