Entering timekeeping
Record and maintain time off (Vacation, Sick, Leave of Absences, Layoffs)
Processing of payroll taxes
Semi-Monthly Payroll Tax reporting and filing
Monthly Workers Compensation Reporting
Quarterly State and Federal payroll reporting
Annual State and Federal payroll reporting
Annual Workers Compensation Audit
Demonstrate reliable attendance, consistent punctuality, and a conscientious attitude always
Other duties as assigned
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and strong math skills
Self-starter who works effectively alone and as part of a team
Ability to monitor and double check work for accuracy and quality
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, and Excel with ability to create/maintain Excel workbooks
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-year accounting experience-including the use of accounting software
Self-motivated, dependable, and organized, with a willingness to take on increasing responsibilities
