Conducts cost quotes of varying complexity for the sales department, demonstrating proficiency in evaluation of optimal material requirements and manufacturing processes. Participates in annual and intermittent physical inventories, while monitoring adherence to periodic cycle count program. Prepares internal and external audit schedules. Participates in monthly closing process with analysis and creation of manual journal entries. Conducts reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as assigned by management. Reviews and monitors freight costs; communicates with freight carriers; demonstrates ability to interpret inventory and shipping documentation; enters applicable freight invoices in AP system.
