- Providing educated, professional guidance and recommendations in all areas of contract management.- Performing first-line review of all contract documents (NDAs, MSAs, VSAs, TAs, AAs, etc.) to ascertain suitability/acceptability- Crafting language for new contracts and amendments to existing contractsDescription:- Maintaining company contract templates, including periodic review and language updates as may be required.- Redlining and negotiating contract terms for suitability/acceptability- Meeting with external parties to discuss contract terms- Assisting in the development of formal proposals in response to RFP processes- Auditing existing contracts for terms, obligations, etc. to assist in compliance management- Acting as departmental front-line, handling all incoming inquiries and requests- Maintaining departmental filesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Directly assists the Director of Contracts in the review, redlining, negotiation, execution, and filing of contract documents- Performs independent research as may be required to ensure the Company is expertly advised on all matters under departmental purview- Develops contract documents/templates upon request- Audits existing contracts, codes, regulations, and other pertinent documents and resources for specified information and catalogs findings/maintain information- Responsible for the maintenance of all departmental files- Acts as front-line contact for incoming communications to the department; must be able to receive, review, answer, and otherwise manage incoming communications politely and skillfully- Maintains required company information on specified third-party platforms- Maintains company trademarks with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO)- Assists in the development of commercial and federal proposals in response to formal RFP process

CPCM, CCCM, CFCM or CCMA
1.Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2.Language Skills -Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups. 3.Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 4.Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. 5.Computer Skills - To perform this position successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
