Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and procedures tailored to the specific needs of each construction project.Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all safety measures are in place and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.Investigate and report on all accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.Provide safety training and education to employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.Stay current with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and best practices in construction safety, and update safety programs accordingly.Ensure that all safety equipment, such as personal protective equipment (PPE), is available, properly maintained, and used correctly on all job sites.Lead and participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and other communication initiatives to reinforce safety protocols and address any concerns.Collaborate with regulatory agencies and insurance providers as needed to ensure that the company remains in compliance with all safety-related requirements.Monitor and track safety performance metrics, using data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Assist in the preparation of safety budgets and manage safety-related expenses to ensure cost-effective implementation of safety measures.

Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification, or similar are preferred.
Bachelor???s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience as a Construction Safety Officer or similar role within the construction or engineering industry.In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and best practices.Strong observational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to prevent accidents.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management, employees, and contractors.Ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports on safety incidents and corrective actions.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in safety management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
