The Safety Manager – ensures the safety and well-being of all team members and assets at our Columbus area jobsite. This role involves implementing safety measures, conducting training, preventing and investigating incidents, analyze risk, handle emergencies and fostering a culture of safety across all operations.

Leadership:
- Supervise and inspire a team of safety professionals.
- Mentor and guide team members to enhance their professional growth.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with Field Operations, Project Operations, the General Contractor, and trade partners to maintain safety standards.
Training:
- Conduct job-site safety training and maintain accurate training records.
Incident Management:
- Investigate and document injuries, incidents, and near-misses.
- Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Risk Assessment:
- Oversee and ensure compliance with safety protocols for high-risk activities, including crane lifts, excavations, and electrical work.
Reporting:
- Maintain daily logs of jobsite activities, critical issues, and key conversations.

Requirements/Qualifications:
- 12-15+ years as a safety professional in the construction industry.
- Required: CHST certification.
- Strongly Preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with at least 2 years of CSP experience.
- Completed OSHA 500 Basic Instructor Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- NFPA 70E Certification a plus
- Experience in electrical construction is highly desirable.
