Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and scheduling industrial construction projects.
- Overseeing site activities, including labor and material requisitions.
- Ensuring site safety and compliance with project schedules.
- Managing daily reports on workforce hours, material installation progress, and project completion percentages.
- Assisting with procurement tracking, scheduling updates, and performance index reporting.
- Coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintaining organized backup schedule files and project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience reading construction drawings (general arrangements, isometrics, P&IDs, spool sheets).
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage large amounts of project data.
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Projects, Access) and P6 scheduling software.
- Familiarity with industrial construction (preferred: pulp & paper, heavy civil, process piping, structural steel, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).
- Ability to travel across the U.S. and work at project locations for 6-18 months at a time.
