Responsibilities:
Process initial and annual resident recertifications for various property types and financing programs
Maintain and update tenant income eligibility records
Accurately calculate income and assets to determine rent and rental assistance eligibility
Develop procedures for obtaining third-party verifications of income and expenses
Provide mentorship and guidance to on-site staff regarding compliance policies and procedures
Manage reporting for move-ins, move-outs, and recertifications
Prepare lease agreements for new residents and annual renewals
Collaborate with Regional Managers and Accounting teams to resolve compliance-related issues
Skills:
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
Experience with compliance reporting and regulatory correspondence
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Prior experience in property management or affordable housing compliance
Qualifications:
Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and team-oriented
Computer proficiency for compliance documentation and reporting
