Responsibilities:
- CNC Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce parts as per technical drawings or specifications. Program machines using G-code and other software to automate functions.
- Blueprint Reading & Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to understand dimensions, tolerances, and materials.
- Tooling Setup: Select appropriate tools, materials, and settings for each job. Maintain and calibrate tools to ensure high-quality machining.
- Quality Control: Use precision measurement tools to inspect parts and ensure accuracy. Perform routine quality checks and maintain inspection records.
- Machine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure efficient operations. Report any issues to supervisors.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean workspace, and adhere to industry standards.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work with engineering and production teams to improve processes and communicate production challenges.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
- Experience: 2+ years in CNC machining or a related field.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CNC programming, G-code, CAD/CAM software (such as Mastercam, SolidWorks).
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and adjust processes for improved output.
