We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Cash Application Specialist to join our team. The Application Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing our financial systems and processes while providing exceptional service to our clients.

HOURS: 6:30AM-3:30PM
Responsibilities:
Work high volume payment applications (for numerous lock boxes) in two operating systems.
Create residuals (deductions) for credits taken by customers on a payment.
Ensure that payment batches for the business units match with bank reports on a daily basis.
Enlist the efforts of Invoice to Cash Department (Accounts Receivable) to obtain remittances from a customer/s that are not included with the customer?s payment/s.
Process manual credit card transactions as needed for open invoices and customer prepayments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Provide training and support to staff on financial systems and best practices.
Working hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Knowledgeable with SAP and/or Prelude (AS400)
Understanding of internal controls including SOX requirement for ITC
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Consumer Products experience, required.
1-3 years high volume corporate cash application experience, required.
Experience in shared service center environment
Strong with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
