Responsibilities:
Answer incoming customer calls in a timely and professional manner.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing statements, payment options, account balances, and service requests.
Process customer payments and update account information accurately.
Troubleshoot customer issues and provide solutions to resolve their concerns.
Educate customers on available programs, services, and payment assistance options.
Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding customer service and confidentiality.
Escalate complex customer issues to supervisors or other departments as needed.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, preferably within the utility industry.
Knowledge of utility billing and customer service procedures.
Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant computer applications.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including phone etiquette and active listening.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Proficient in basic computer skills and data entry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in challenging situations.
