Pay: $22/hour

Location: On-site in Broken Arrow

Schedule: Mon-Fri | 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. | 6 month+ contract

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with material planners for accurate forecasting and scheduling.
- Run daily open purchase order reports; update and revise expediting reports as needed.
- Communicate with vendors to confirm adherence to delivery schedules.
- Work with transportation companies to prevent shipping delays and expedite deliveries.
- Develop and implement metrics to monitor and manage delivery timelines.
- Liaise with program management and manufacturing teams, providing weekly updates.
- Ensure purchase order data is current and accurate; follow up with internal teams for necessary updates.
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy in material descriptions, quantities, delivery terms, and support documentation.
- Identify and develop new sources of supply; prepare bid specifications and review supplier quotations.
- Analyze bids for responsiveness, evaluating factors such as cost, delivery, financial stability, quality control, and shipping logistics.
- Ensure vendor compliance with company standards, schedules, and regulatory requirements.
- Issue purchase orders and resolve procurement issues, including delays and quality concerns.
- Collaborate with quality control, inspection teams, and vendors to resolve discrepancies or defective deliveries.
- Work with accounting on invoice reconciliation and payment inquiries.
- Maintain knowledge of domestic and international procurement standards, export/import regulations, ITAR compliance, and current Incoterms.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Ability to work a 6 month (or longer) contract

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Previous Buyer experience
- Experience in export/import regulation, ITAR and knowledge of current incoterms
- Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
