Performs all accounting and bookkeeping duties. Works closely with the Executive Director and provides leadership through financial recording and reporting. Responsible for overseeing financial transactions, internal controls, reporting, payroll, audits and monitoring of funds and budget. Bookkeeping and accounting functions are to be handled in a timely manner and in compliance with nonprofit accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
Recording transactions
Bookkeepers record daily financial transactions, such as sales, expenses, purchases, invoices, and payments.
Maintaining records
Bookkeepers maintain financial records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date. They also organize, collect, and store business financial records.
Preparing reports
Bookkeepers prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
Managing accounts
Bookkeepers manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax payments.
Working with clients
Bookkeepers communicate with clients in a timely manner and may need to make phone calls to settle balances.
Working with accountants
Bookkeepers work with accountants to ensure compliance and may fill out tax forms.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Grant compliance and reporting
Experience in processing payroll (ADP is a plus)
Experience in AP and AR and general ledger.
Mathematical and analytical skillset with attention to detail
Experience in budget devolvement, implantation and projection of trends

Qualifications:
Experience in Microsoft teams
Experience in Microsoft Excel/Word
Must be proficient in Quick books.
4 year degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
