The Board Testing Technician, reporting to the Manager, Technical Operations, tests and evaluates electronic and electromechanical devices used as subcomponents in diagnostic imaging systems, specifically those of MR and CT.

The following is a summary of the major functions of this individual?s job. The BRT may perform other duties, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below, and specific functions may change from time to time.
- Performs testing of all components of the fully operational system of a CT or MR diagnostic imaging piece of equipment.
- Ensures that the appropriate throughput testing is completed, and results documented; if throughput testing results are not within desired range, identifies needed actions to be completed.
- Works with all types of electronic diagnostic equipment, DMMs, Oscilloscopes, etc.
- Works with testing procedures to evaluate the disposition of the part being tested.
- Works with all types of Windows and DOS based software products.
- Being able to adapt to different software such as Unix, Vx Works, etc.
- Meets corporate QA standards.
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- High School diploma or GED
- Associate's EET degree or equivalent degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of previous Electronics Based experience preferred.

Qualifications:
- The ability to use various types of manual and power tools.
- Proven track record of meeting timelines
- Self-starter
- The ability to operate a computer and navigate both Windows and DOS based programs
- Ability to read and understand schematics and wire diagrams
- The ability to organize and prioritize tasks as well as the ability to be a self-starter with an attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to work well with others and alone.
