We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Clerk who is also highly skilled in customer service. This individual will be responsible for handling billing inquiries, taking/processing payments, and tracking orders. All this while providing top-tier service to both inbound phone and in-person customers. You will be the bridge between the customers and the corporate billing team. Responsibilities:
Process customer invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
Answer inbound billing-related inquiries via phone and email.
Assist in person at the front desk, providing billing and payment support to customers.
Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to resolve billing issues and answer questions.
Maintain accurate billing records and update customer information as needed.
Process refunds and adjustments to customer accounts as required.
Handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns related to billing or payments.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, accounting) to ensure accurate billing.
Monitor customer accounts for late payments and follow up as necessary.
Prepare and maintain reports related to billing activities.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Bachelors' or Higher in Accounting or related
Previous Data Entry experience
Previous experience with sensitive customer data
Education:
Associate
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
1-3 years in accounting or related role
1-3 years in customer service or related role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Previous experience with an accounting/billing Software
