In this role, you'll work with blueprints, measurement tools, and MIG welding equipment to fit, tack, and finish weld mild steel products. You'll need math skills for shop calculations, knowledge of shop practices, and an understanding of shop safety protocols. Responsibilities:
Operate robotic welder to join steel components, ensuring completed products meet quality standards.
Program and adjust robotic welding sequences as needed, set up fixtures, and load parts into the welder.
Monitor welding process for proper function and unload completed weldments, verifying accuracy with measuring tools.
Perform additional MIG welding to finish weldments as necessary.
Safely transfer, organize, and stack metal products using forklifts, cranes, and other moving equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of work area and welding equipment, following shop safety protocols.
Lift up to 50 pounds and be available for overtime, including weekends when required.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Experience with welding stainless steel.
Knowledge of shop safety procedures and equipment.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to adapt to various welding techniques and tools.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience with MIG welding and automated (robot) welders.
Verbal communication and listening skills.
Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with general shop practices and safety protocols.
