We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of residential and/or commercial properties. This role requires an active real estate license and a people-friendly, service-oriented approach. Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of assigned properties.
Support lease administration, including lease agreements, renewals, and tenant correspondence.
Serve as a point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests.
Help coordinate property showings, marketing, and advertising for vacant units.
Process rent payments, track delinquencies, and assist in collections efforts as needed.
Work closely with vendors and contractors to schedule maintenance and repairs.
Conduct property inspections and document findings for management review.
Assist in budget tracking, expense management, and financial reporting.
Enforce lease terms and property policies while maintaining positive tenant relationships.
Stay up to date with property laws, fair housing regulations, and industry best practices.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience in marketing and leasing strategies.
Familiarity with maintenance and repair coordination.
Background in financial reporting and budget management.
Bilingual skills (preferred but not required).
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Active real estate license (state-specific).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with diverse personalities and income levels.
Previous experience in property management, leasing, or real estate.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations.
Ability to problem-solve and handle tenant concerns professionally.
