2nd shift production supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to lead and manage operations within our Blow Molding and Assembly department. The Production Supervisor will oversee production personnel in a manufacturing and logistics environment, ensuring optimal safety, quality, efficiency, and inventory control. This role requires strong leadership and a continuous improvement mindset to meet production goals and drive operational excellence. The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in coaching staff, managing equipment changeovers, and maintaining compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and motivate production teams across multiple lines

Ensure daily performance reporting and accurate documentation

Lead training on safety, quality, and good manufacturing practices (GMP)

Manage equipment changeovers and support cost-reduction initiatives

Promote continuous improvement and uphold 6S workplace standards

Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed

Enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies

Working hours: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Skills:
5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor

Familiarity with 5S and continuous improvement practices

Proficiency with various machines, tools, and assembly equipment

Strong leadership and team development abilities

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:

High school diploma (or equivalent)

Basic computer skills

Ability to perform standard math calculations

Physical ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 pounds

Good hand-eye coordination and reflexes

Understanding of quality control procedures

Clear communication and instruction-following skills
