seam welder

Spherion Staffing is hiring Seam Welders for a equipment manufacturing plant in Wichita Falls, TX! Seam welders will be responsible for completing welding projects using flux core and stick processes. The work schedule is Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm, starting at $17.00/hr.

Responsibilities:
Tack weld clips and brackets in to place prior to permanent welding.
Fabricate, align, and assemble structural parts.
Operate both hand and power tools used in fit / weld area
Perform all quality checks as defined in work order packet
Inspect products using precision measuring equipment, tape measures and visual comparison

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Skills:
Welding experience preferred
Can operate power tools
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Machine operation experience
Mechanically inclined
Must be able to read blueprints
Can read precise measuring tools
