Machine Operator 2nd Shift

  • Temp to Perm
  • $13.25 per hour
  • Various Shifts Available
The Machine- Operator is responsible for performing various tasks to operate and monitor assigned production equipment following established procedures and guidelines, while adjusting machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Machines/Equipment: Box Machine, Case Packer, Depal L1, Relief Operator.

Responsibilities:
Proficient in operating and troubleshooting multiple pieces of equipment efficiently
Perform package change over on multiple pieces of equipment
Performs necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and
operation on assigned equipment
Operates assigned equipment and monitors equipment during operation to ensure
quality production and minimal unplanned stops
Communicates with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production
of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
Maintain logs and required records
Notify management of any source loss or misuse, including bad labels, product, etc.

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
.Knowledge of safety procedures related to machine operation, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
Ability to identify machine malfunctions or process inefficiencies and troubleshoot or adjust to resolve issues promptly.
Understanding of machine functions, electrical systems, and automation technologies used in production lines.
Capable of managing time effectively to meet production goals while maintaining product quality.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Minimum age 18 years old
Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required.
Ability to work with all functional team members
Effective communication skills and problem solving.
Reports any Food Safety/ Quality issue or potential issue to management.
Ability to lift, push, or move 10-15lbs
Ability to climb, bend, or squat when necessary to navigate machinery
Repeated standing and walking
Frequent exposure to water, steam, and heat.
