We are an working with an established electronics assembly company in Bloomington looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper to join their team. This role will support day-to-day accounting functions and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping. Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time
- Maintain general ledger entries and perform reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other necessary documentation
- Assist in preparing payroll and managing employee records
- Manage and track inventory financials, including adjustments
- Handle month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
- Experience in an electronics assembly or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
- Familiarity with industry-specific financial regulations
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across various departments

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an accounting clerk or bookkeeper
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
