Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and scheduling appointments.
Assist with data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting records.
Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial documents.
Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other accounting documents.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and coordinating meetings.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding accounting and administrative tasks.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Construction experience preferred.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
4+ years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in an accounting environment.
Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
