-Maintain and reconcile WIP schedules to ensure accurate project cost tracking-Analyze WIP reports to assess project profitability and identify variances-Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with contract terms-Prepare and update percentage-of-completion accounting schedules-Complete monthly job cost reporting and forecasting-Prepare AIA progress payment applications per contract terms-Ensure all invoices comply with contract schedules, retainage, and lien waiver requirements-Coordinate with project managers and clients to resolve billing discrepancies-Track and process change orders and ensure timely updates to the billing process-Reconcile project billings and payments to general ledger accounts-Process subcontractor and vendor payments, ensuring compliance with lien waivers and retention policies-Manage job cost allocations and review purchase orders and subcontract agreements-Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments-Complete month-end and year-end closings, ensuring proper revenue recognition-Work with external auditors on project financials and compliance reporting-Maintain compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry standards-Assist with budgeting and forecasting for multiple projects-Ensure proper allocation of labor costs to construction projects-Complete certified payroll compliance (if applicable)-Run Weekly Payroll

-Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)-CPA or Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) certification-Experience with prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting-Familiarity with lien waivers, retention, and compliance reporting-Preferred knowledge within AIA and WIP
-High School Diploma-Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience (Construction Industry preferred)-Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel-Experience with percentage-of-completion accounting-Strong knowledge of job cost accounting-Familiarity with construction contracts, retainage, and change orders-Proficiency in construction accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, Viewpoint, Procore, QuickBooks, Foundation, CMiC, or similar)-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills-Strong communication skills for interacting with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
