Responsibilities:
Set up and operate machines with accuracy, using basic math skills and measurement tools.
Manually handle products and materials weighing up to 50 lbs through frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and bending.
Safely operate overhead hoists, which may require pushing/pulling loads
Interpret job specifications, blueprints, and written instructions to make machine adjustments and ensure product quality.
Use measuring devices and perform basic computer data entry to track progress and maintain accuracy.
Stand and work on concrete floors for extended periods, often in varying positions.
Rotate between multiple machines and jigs in the work area, supporting workflow flexibility and safety initiatives.
Collaborate with team members across departments and facilities to meet production goals and company objectives.
Skills:
Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment, with familiarity in operating saws, presses, or CNC equipment, is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures) is a strong plus.
Qualifications:
Basic math and measuring skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and safety guidelines
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to adapt, learn new equipment, and rotate roles as needed
