As the Logistics Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics team as well as the team and ensuring the efficient and timely flow of goods, materials, and information throughout our supply chain. You will lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, driving performance, and implementing best practices to achieve operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of logistics processes, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
-Supervise and coordinate the activities of the logistics team during the 2nd shift
-Ensure that all shipments are processed and delivered on time
-Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to replenish stock as needed
-Train and mentor team members to ensure they are performing at their best
-Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency
Working hours: 3:30 PM - 11:45 PM
Skills:
-Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy across all locations.
-Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly.
-Implement and maintain efficient inventory control processes.
-Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
-Strong leadership and communication skills
-Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
-Knowledge of inventory management systems
-High school diploma or equivalent
-SAP
