Stand-Up Forklift Operator
Job Summary:
The Stand-Up Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers/lifts to move, stack, transfer and pick products and materials within the warehouse distribution center. This role ensures timely movement and retrieval of inventory to support order fulfillment and distribution operations.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers/lifts, a strong safety focus, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy distribution warehouse setting. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Operate stand-up forklift machinery to load, unload, move and stack pallets, boxes, crates and other materials
Carefully maneuver forklift through narrow aisles and tight spaces within the warehouse
Ensure loads are properly secured and stable before transport
Verify pick orders and accurately select correct products/materials for orders
Operate cherry picker/lift equipment to retrieve products from high shelving up to 30 feet
Properly wear safety harnesses and follow procedures when operating lifts
