NON-COMPLIANCE WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entrants. 

Eligibility: 

To be eligible to enter and/or win the Spherion 2021 GET MORE! GIVEAWAY (“Contest”), you must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry; a legal resident of the United States; an employee of Spherion or a participating Spherion franchisee and in “good standing.”

Good standing is defined as: Currently an active temporary employee of Spherion or a participating Spherion franchisee (temp or temp-to-perm) on date of entry and date of award of any prize; Has complied with all explicit obligations, while not being subject to any form of sanction, suspension or disciplinary censure; Has not tendered oral or written notice of intent to resign or retire effective as of a date on or before the conclusion of the Contest Period or the awarding of any prize; Has no pending investigations or lawsuits that would affect one’s employment status (based on local, state and federal government laws). 

Conditions not related to “good standing” include: Being late or missing work that is less than the defined minimum expectations of the job; Perceptions based on an opinion of an individual vs. facts based on employment criteria; Preconceived opinions based on past experiences or history prior to or during the start date of the Contest. 

Employees, representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and agents of Randstad or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates (other than Spherion), or of the Spherion Franchisees, as well as their spouses and dependents, are not eligible to enter this Contest or to win the Contest prize. Nor are the temporary employees of non-participating Spherion franchise offices.

Winner Selection: 

For the weekly promotion, digital scratchcards will be sent to prospective winners via text and/or email from their local franchisee; prizes will be randomly chosen from all eligible employees as follows: Franchisees will pull active temporary employees employed by the Spherion franchisee to distribute digital scratchcards on the Priiize platform system. If a prospective winner reveals a prize on their digital scratchcard, they will be required to complete and submit their entry form information (name, email address, mobile phone and last four digits of their social security number) using the link provided during the defined promotion period to their local franchisee to determine their eligibility and claim their potential prize. The franchise owner will receive a notification of the prospective winner’s completed submission form via their Priiize account, the platform being used for this promotion. The franchisee or their designated contact will confirm the prospective winner is eligible based on the criteria outlined in these rules. If the prospective winner is not confirmed eligible, the prize will be forfeited and put back into the pool for randomly chosen winners. Chosen eligible winners may not transfer their prize to another person or party for the purposes of this Contest.  Chosen eligible winners will receive payment of the prize in their next paycheck following the completion of eligibility and submission of payment based on the next pay cycle.

For the Regional Premium Prize drawing of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) and the Grand Prize drawing of ten thousand dollars ($10,000), each eligible employee will receive an entry for each week employed by Spherion or its franchisees/licensees during the Contest period, up to a maximum of five (5) entries.  By way of example, if an eligible employee has been employed by Spherion for three (3) weeks when the Regional Premium or Grand Prize drawing occurs, that employee will receive three (3) entries for the drawing.  Employees who have converted to the payroll of the client to which the employee was assigned will remain eligible after conversion for the regional and Grand Prize drawings only.  Converted employees will not otherwise be eligible to win any weekly scratchcard prizes after conversion. Winners of the regional premium prize will not be eligible for winning the Grand Prize, for which winners will be eligible as set forth above.

Prospective Regional Premium Prize and Grand Prize winner entries will be randomly chosen from all eligible employees as follows: A weekly report will be pulled of all active temporary employees employed by Spherion or Spherion franchisees; weekly Reports will be downloaded and consolidated into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet document with chronological numbers for each eligible employee; Winners for each prize will be chosen through a random on-line generator at RANDOM.ORG and will be matched to the corresponding number on the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet; There will be forty-nine (49) alternate Contest winner back-ups for each regional and grand prize in the event the original winner is deemed ineligible or fails to claim the prize. 

Any determination made by Spherion regarding the eligibility and selection of eligible and final winners shall be final and binding.   

Prizes: 

Grand Prize (1) of $10,000 cash. Regional Premium prize (3) of $2,500 per each region. 

Weekly Prizes include $25, $50 and $100.

Specific final prize details will be determined by Spherion and are subject to change based on discretion of Spherion. 

The Contest will start on October 18, 2021 at 12:00 am Eastern Daylight Time and will end with the Regional Premium Prize and Grand Prize winners being announced on December 1, 2021 at 12:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time.  All dates are subject to change or cancellation.

Contest winners will be notified by a telephone call, text, and/or email from the Spherion franchisee employer specifying that the winner must contact a specific official at their local Spherion franchisee branch location.

Notification is to determine if the winner is able and willing to accept the Contest rules and the prize under the terms and conditions set forth herein.  Each weekly winner is required to respond by completing and submitting the on-line prize claim form within seven (7) calendar days of receiving the winning scratchcard.  If the prospective winner fails to contact that Spherion official and respond as required or is otherwise unavailable to receive the notification for whatever reason, such that no response is received by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the seventh (7th) calendar day following receipt of a winning scratchcard, then any right or interest of the prospective winner in the Contest prize or this Contest shall be promptly forfeited.  No other notification will be required to be made by Spherion to the prospective winner that fails to respond for any reason, the selected prospective winner shall forfeit their rights and interest.  If the prospective winner has forfeited their interest in the prize and this Contest, an alternate winner will be selected through the random Priiize scratchard platform and will then be declared the “winner” of that specific prize by Spherion, as described above.  Once an alternate winner is selected as the prospective winner, then that alternate winner must accept the Contest rules and the prize under the terms and conditions set forth herein and must comply with all Contest rules as applied to the winners.

Non-compliance with any of the Contest rules may result in disqualification.  

Spherion’s decisions are final on all matters relating to this Contest.  After winners have been selected for the Regional Premium Prize and Grand Prize, each winner agrees to timely execute Spherion’s Prize Acceptance and Liability form, an Affidavit of Eligibility form, W-9 form (for IRS purposes), and any other documents Spherion, in its sole discretion, requires, and then promptly deliver the executed forms to the Spherion before the winner takes possession of these Regional Premium and Grand Prizes.

Release of Liability:

Upon acceptance of the prize, the winner, his or her heirs, executors, representatives, successors, and assigns, forever releases from any and all liability, loss, harm, damage, cost or expense whatsoever, regardless of how it was incurred, and including without limitation, any and all claims for property damage, personal injury, and/or death which may occur in connection with the winner’s acceptance, ownership, possession and/or use of the prize, each of the following: Spherion Staffing, LLC and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, owners, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, representatives, suppliers, agents,  associates and advertisers; and any parties, individual or entities involved with this Contest, its promotion, and public relations and production agency associated with this Contest (“Released Entities”)

Winners consent to the use of his/her name, voice, performance, entry, and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Spherion and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use. 

Winners agree that he/she will not conduct or participate in any media interview regarding this Contest or any prize without the express prior written permission of Spherion.  Spherion is not responsible for any unauthorized human intervention or other causes that corrupt or improperly affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of this Contest.  Spherion will not be responsible to award any value in excess of the value listed in these rules.

Contest Is Void Where Prohibited, Taxed or Restricted by Law.  If there exists any laws, bonds, taxes, and/or restrictions that actually apply to any valid contestant, participant, winner; then the Contest is void for such individuals (“Void Individuals”).  Whether or not such information is known or unknown to all the parties before or after this 2021 Spherion GET MORE! GIVEAWAY. Any such Void Individuals are unable to participate and/or claim the award to become a winner.  If the winner is determined to be a Void Individual after the prize has been awarded, Spherion reserves the right to require that the winner return the prize awarded.  Spherion conducts numerous giveaways and will not be held responsible for resolving potential or actual claims of Void Individuals.

 

Miscellaneous: 

Released Parties are not responsible for any typographical, printing or other error in connection with this Contest, including, without limitation, errors in the printing of these Official Rules or any advertising or promotional materials, the administration of the Contest, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any other Contest-related materials.  Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, inaccurate entries or lost or stolen entry boxes. Entries made in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Spherion, will be void and the corresponding entrant may be disqualified.  Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Spherion’s sole opinion, compromised for any reason, or should any cause, in the sole opinion of the Spherion, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Spherion. reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate the Sweepstakes (or portion thereof) and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries received in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received.  CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.

Winner Identification: 

The identification of all Winners will be made available by sending a written request (in English only) for that information, together with a separate, stamped (first class mail), and self-addressed envelope (#10) to: WINNER of 2021 Spherion Works Sweepstakes 3625 Cumberland Blvd SE, Atlanta, GA 30339 to be received after December 3,, 2021 and before January 10, 2022.
