Responsibilities:
The Convenience Store Manager will be responsible for properly staffing the store, 24 hours per day, if any employee or employees cannot work their shift , it will fall upon you. However, you will be given time off should you have to cover an overnight shift. This client is very fair in their treatment of their employees. You will need to ensure that the store generates a profit. You will also have input referencing wage surveys and adherence to yearly budgets. In addition, you will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, selecting and training and management of employees. You will also be tasked with making sure customers have a satisfactory experience, all while protecting the physical condition of the store, as well as the fuel islands.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

*Have experience with a variety of various computer software applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
*Effective oral and written communication skills
*Work independently and multi-task

*5+ years of experience as a Manager of a Convenience Store/Truck Stop

*Experience with scheduling of employees over 24 hours
*Knowledge/experience with recruitment, hiring, training and termination of employees
