Responsibilities:
Serves as project coordinator for design and construction projects.
Coordinates processes; prepares forms and documents for assigned design and construction projects
Collects data and prepares reports.
Provides supervision and guidance to personnel assigned to design construction projects
Liaising with the customer, architect and/or General Contractor
Review Architectural information for possible impact on contract value
Coordinate & Schedule the approval drawings, production drawings, shipment, and installation of the components
Update tracker information in a timely manner & maintain complete files/notes on a per-job basis
Manage relationships with contractors and vendors
Develop and oversee schedules and timelines
Manage site planning and compliance
Other duties as assigned
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
REVIT, Photoshop and SketchUp preferred
Active pursuit of IDP and licensing is a plus
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Masters degree in Architecture
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in commercial (non-residential) design and construction
Understanding of the various phases of design, documentation, detailing and construction
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude
Desire to improve professionally on a daily basis
Ability to foster positive relationships between the design team, clients, consultants and contractors
